Ariskelda Eddy

I am a 46 year old wife, Mama of 2 boys and 1 fur baby (a charcoal Lab named Kota) and full time law enforcement officer of over 20 years, in Massachusetts. I have been a part of the Ashlete community since July 2019 and have completed 5 programs. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Earth Below Me (twice, going a 3rd as I prepare for the MCM 50k Oct 30, 2022), Parabellum, The Awakening, and Horner Actual. Along with supplementals Crux & Sweet Cakes.

Earth Below continues to be a favorite. It pushes me to improve as a runner, while building strength for those longer distances and improved recovery time. My favorite movement is the kneeling bell up kb press. It really forces me to focus on form and balance equally. I’m currently only pressing a 20lbs kettlebell and feel like a champ every time 🤣💪🏽, love the challenge!

The ashlete community is comprised of some of the most amazing & empowering individuals. It’s what keeps me coming back!

Candace Brown

My name is Candace! When it comes to fitness, I consider myself a jack of all trades: from bodybuilding, to Crossfit, to marathons and ultra-races, to backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking and everything in between, as long as it’s movement, I’m usually game to try it! Ashley, her programs and her community have played a HUGE role in my ability to overcome pretty significant body dysmorphia and an unhealthy approach to health and fitness and was paramount to gaining strength and loving my body in all its stages!

I was fortunate enough to work with Ashley on her AH Elite Team a few years ago and from that point on, I haven’t looked back! I have a fair number of AH programs: Kallos Sthenos, Parabellum, Pipehitter, Valor, WTF, Hybrid, Horner Actual, The Awakening, Monolith, Dumbbell Club, The Pinnacle, Pipehitter 2, Crux and Toe the Line. My favorite program so far has been Pipehitter because it makes you dig deep into your why and tests your mental fortitude! I have a favorite quote that means even more to me since doing Pipehitter: “And then one day, I discovered my own light, my own inner gangster. I snatched my power back and the game changed”. My favorite exercise is the back squat. I don’t think I’ve ever been bummed about leg day! Outside of fitness, I am an ER nurse, an avid lover of dinosaurs, and a bit of a bookworm.

Crystal Moore

My Fitness journey started during a really stressful time in my life. My anxiety was crazy and debilitating. I read somewhere that exercise can help with anxiety and stress, so I figured I would give it a try, and I felt better after, so I kept doing it. My fitness journey literally started in my living room with some YouTube videos out of pure desperation and progressed from there.

I found Ashely Horner quite early in my fitness journey, and she really spoke to me, as a woman, as a mom, as a business owner, and an all around badass who uses her influence for good.  I had also been taking note of how she trained and I wanted to do those things too, so I downloaded Charlie Mike, and gave it a try, and that program changed me.  I was doing all of these badass things that I never thought I would do. I was getting stronger both physically and mentally, and I was finding beauty in my new found strength, and really started to embrace the suck of a hard workout. 

I fell in love with fitness, and all of the things that it brought to both my body and my mind. Through fitness I was able to find myself again, outside of being a mom and a wife. I found confidence that I never had before, I felt strong, and finally had the belief that I truly could do anything I set my mind to. After a while I became a certified personal trainer, and made my passion my career. I know that I would not be the person I am becoming, or be where I am today if it wasn’t for Ashleys influence and programs. So thank you! 

Since then I have done several of Ashley’s programs, participated in more than a few Transform You Challenges, and subscribed to Horner Training. My all time favorite program has to be Pipehitter, it is tough, but so so good. If you want to feel like a badass, it’s the program for you! I have also done Valor, WTF, Horner Actual, Sweetcakes, and Crux and I love all of them for different reasons. 

Officially, my favorite exercise is Deadlifts, I think because it was the first lift that I went pretty heavy on, and I will never forget that feeling!! Lifting that weight and thinking “I can’t believe I am doing this”. Unofficially I am going to have to say the wall run pushup combo from Pipehitter is my favorite. Not because I get super pumped when I see it in my training or because I am really good at it, because I am not!! I love it because it is hard, like really hard, they suck, and I secretly love that!!

Kate Peabody

Hi all, I’m Katie! Like so many of us out there, I’m a busy mom of three, an Army wife, Coast Guard veteran, and I help run two small businesses as well as a nonprofit that helps military families. I’ve been an active person my entire life and love to embrace new challenges. Every pregnancy presented a chance for me to create a new version of myself and define what fitness means in my life. I started following Ashley Horner when I got into body building about a decade ago. Since then I’ve competed in CrossFit, run some races, done Spartan races in body armor (just for the added challenge!), and gotten back in touch with my wild side.

I spend a lot of time in nature- hiking/ skiing/ climbing/ mountaineering- and my goal for this year is to summit Mt Rainier and next year tackle Mt Denali. I love all the physical and mental challenges that go along with it!

Training programs completed: Losing the Bump, Bandit, Horner Actual, Pipehitter, DB Crew, Momentum, Breaking Boundaries, and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (twice!) 

Favorite: Pipehitter. I was in the best shape of my life during/ After Pipehitter and it lead to baby #3. I also really enjoyed DB Crew and Momentum because they were quick workouts which was what I needed with a baby around.

Favorite exercise: power cleans or weighted box step-ups! Power cleans are my favorite barbell lift while step-ups are great conditioning for steep hikes.

Mike Marin

I’m 43 years young. I’m originally from Los Angeles, CA. Now living in Reno, NV. I work F.T. at CostCo as a Stocker. Which keeps me active all day long. I have always had a passion for sports/athletics. I have tried to stay active with city league rec sports, Tough Mudders, and lifting weights throughout my life. I’ve been a “follower” of A.H. for some time. This last year has been the biggest investment in myself. I started doing the TYC Challenges.  I have done the Awakening, Parabellum and Horner Actual programs. Of these, to date, Parabellum has been my favorite.

Due to the physical AND mental challenge of the program. My favorite exercise is the deadlift. Due to the fact that it incorporates so many muscles and is a true test for oneself. Here’s to the start of a new journey!!

Miranda Radel

My name is Miranda and I’m an Air Force veteran turned stay at home hippie mom. I’m an herbalist and doula currently living in Japan. Holistic health and wellness is my passion, and of course the gym plays a major role in that. Helping others navigate their way through fitness and natural health is my life goal.

Parabellum has been my favorite program so far because it hits all areas of training. I love that it’s geared more for functional fitness vs regular strength training. My favorite exercise is deadlifts! 

Brooke Sorenson

I am a 32 year old wife, mom of three (and 1 fur baby), and high school counselor. I started Ashley’s programs and competed in my first TYC in 2016. Shortly after, I got pregnant with my oldest son. Before I knew it, over 5 years had passed, and I had stopped prioritizing my health. After I had my twins in September 2021, I knew that I wanted to make a change to be the best version of myself for my children and husband.


In January 2022, I signed up for my first Transform You Challenge in 6 years and haven’t looked back. I started with two rounds of Dumbbell Crew and then spent my summer dedicated to completing Magnify You while counting macros. In that time, I’ve lost 40 pounds and discovered my passion again for lifting weights and powerlifting. I currently compete in the USAPL and truly owe all my gratitude to Ashley and her Ashlete Community for changing my life. Everyone is so supportive and empowering to one another. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey because I believe we never stop working on ourselves.

My favorite program is Dumbbell Crew because that’s what started it all. As a busy mom of three, it was realistic in both time and equipment needed. It was perfect for easing back into lifting for me. My favorite exercise in DBC is any form of front or lateral raises. Shoulders and arms are my favorite to work out!

Emily Hawryschuk

Hi Everyone. My name is Emily Hawryschuk, and I am from Upstate NY. I am a 2x All- American who broke Syracuse University’s all-time goal record in the 2022 lacrosse season. I was also a member of Team USA’s training team. Currently, I am a professional lacrosse player and founder of 51 Stars Lacrosse- a company that aims to train and mentor the next generation of female lacrosse players across the country through the offering of camps/clinics. I have dedicated my life to being an athlete and made fitness a major part of my lifestyle.

I started following Ashley Horner a few years ago for several reasons. I admired her strength, entrepreneurial mind, and the fact that she is unapologetically American.

Leading up to the 2022 lacrosse season, I trained Horner Actual. I loved the intensity as well as the mental and physical challenge the program posed. My favorite exercise is bench or squat. I also participated in TYC: The Evolution.

Whitney Schneider

Whitney is a mom and a nurse. She was born in Wyoming and currently lives in Washington state. She grew up with 8 siblings. She loves God, hanging out and laughing with her family, dancing, and getting outside, hiking, paddleboarding or floating the river. She is currently learning to hunt and loves playing baseball with her little guy. Whitney has the programs: Dumbbell Crew, Momentum, Valor and Kallos Sthenos. Her favorite program has been Momentum, because the workouts are fairly short, she can do them at home, and they pack a punch. Momentum never fails to leave her sweaty and feeling great. Her favorite exercise is the single leg deadlift because it works hamstrings, glutes and also takes a lot of core strength and balance. 

Sarah Dunfield

Hi everyone, My name is Sarah! I’m a 38 year old Canadian Hippie.  Fitness and Nutrition has always been paramount to my lifestyle. I love anything and everything to do with Health, Wellness and Fitness!!! I grew up playing hockey, competed in gymnastics, rugby and trac and field.  I am a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, who currently works as Landscaper and Kickboxing Coach. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA is my one true passion that always sets my soul on fire, and keeps me searching for more!

I love all things nature, from being outside in the garden, (huge plant nerd) to hiking up in the moutnains, and down by the sea. I love to hunt, fish, and enjoy archery and axe throwing!!! 

As long as it involves an adventure, where I’m learning, exploring and getting in movement, you can count me in!

Ashley and her programs have helped me find the true beauty in my strength. I am moved by her ability to adapt and push through the darkest days, and still come out on top. Stronger, wiser and braver. 

I participated in and won the TYC transformation challenge Bulletproof, which ultimley changed the trajectory of my life moving forward. Bulletproof has far better exceeded anything I could ever have imaged and I’m eternally grateful for Ashley Horner and her Transformation Challenges/Programs. The amount of personal growth and mental fortitude that I have endured throughout this program has been soul shifting and I’m excited for the next chapters!!! 

The Ashletes community are a group of very powerful, motivating, and highly supportive humans that I’ve ever met, and it’s refreshing to have friends who bring new energy to your soul. I don’t know where I’d be today without them. 

Favorite exercises:

Barbell reverse lunges or the sumo deadlift because it targets the quads, glutes, inner thighs, and hamstrings while also engaging the core. 

The standing cable upright row (v-bar) is one of the few compound shoulder exercises that activates muscle groups across your shoulders and upper back that help build me those beefy shoulders!

Leg and Shoulders are my favourite!
