On this day five years ago with @krisgethin I was

On this day five years ago with @krisgethin I was waking up to darkness, preparing to ride 100 miles across India for the @uniquehomeforgirls

This was the most intense ride of my life! You talk about having to be acutely aware of all your surroundings-

I learned that I’m capable of pulling a huge mass like @krisgethin and paving the way- strategically we’d break allow the other to recover-

I’ll never forget that ride. How aggressively we rode close to one another.

I’ll never forget my crash on the bridge, yelling at @jagchima “No, I don’t need a Blankety-blank bandaid”!! Sorry @jagchima 😂 we almost caused a massive chain reaction of vehicles, but recovered swiftly and carried on.

I didn’t give myself the opportunity to let fear set in or even think about my fall.

Ill never forget the feeling after completing the 100 continuous miles. How bad my body hurt, and seeing the crowds along the way- reminding me why we ventured on a such feat in the first place.

Most importantly I’ll never forget the faces of every single warrior princess at the Home for Girls.

The sound of laughter fills so much of my memories there.

The joy, with so little- reminds me that everything is relative.

Everything and everyone coming in your life is for a purpose.

Thank you @krisgethin for taking me on a ride of my lifetime.

The following year, I went on to ride my bike from Virginia Beach to Oklahoma soon after, for St. Jude. Totaling 1,400 + miles.

Wrapping up a great week at @american_tactical_k9_

Wrapping up a great week at @american_tactical_k9_assn supporting the men and women in the LEO/MIL community.

#ATK9 is a week long conference spent training and rehearsing real life drills and scenarios 10+ hours a day. Exposing these trainee’s to more tactics, focused mindsets & direct action responses.

Adam @policeposts said it best during our recent conversation on the @rebornpod “we can’t expect these guys to work a 12 hour shift and still perform perfectly during their final two hours of something bad cracks out when under stress- and most with minimal training.”

Raise the standard, hold it, upkeep it.

May we continue to learn from the ones who have go

May we continue to learn from the ones who have gone before us, the lessons and stories of both defeat and victory.

The walls and hallways echo the shadows of the greatest of all time.

Their legacy lives on by the sweat etched into the very iron that consumes us.

It’s in the grit it takes to go one more.

It’s taunting the deep drive we have to go a little heavier… perhaps a little darker and push ourselves further.

Can you rise to the level that was set?

Uphold the integrity that was fought for and paid for in silence with little regard.

When you’re in the presence of the very thing that represents greatness.

I work to match her stride.

There is an energy.. undeniably felt, you see it and you strive to BE LIKE her.

Honor it.

The Game Plan.

Alright, we are here- ready for Hustle for the Muscle. DAY ONE WEEK ONE !

I am so excited- so Now what?

Week one is all about developing your map, creating a system, and securing the right mindset. There is no way to know where you are going if you don’t know where you are now. This first week you are checking in with yourself, getting super real and honest by taking full ownership of yourself. Ask yourself the following questions: This is a great time for you to journal, take notes in your phone-

What are my goals?
Why did I decide to do this program?
Where am I?
Where am I trying to go?

As simple as it sounds If you don’t know your starting point, you won’t be able to fill in all the in-betweens getting you to your destination.

Think of it as developing your vehicle that is taking you to your destination.

These are the habits or systems you need to change to get you to your goal ultimately. So you’ve got Hustle for The Muscle. Now what? What happens outside of the one-hour training time is very important.

The other 23 hours of your day are crucial. Now you have to start making lifestyle changes and rewiring your systems. For this first week, I want you to change one thing about your morning routine: wake up 30 minutes early and spend that time mentally preparing for your day, for your training, and for whatever the world decides to throw at you.

This week you must set the tone for the entire six weeks to come and beyond. So lock in that will-do-can-do mindset and attitude.

It’s time to get YUGEEEEE and Hustle for that Muscle.

I haven’t been this zeroed in, in a long time.

Feels good to be so hyper focused.

there is no shaking this.

I’ve built this strength.

Check in with yourself. Where are you?

It’s having the discipline to get the job done even when I don’t feel like it.

Bad days… sure I’ve had many, but I don’t let the bad days I had eat up any of today- let it go.

Hustle for the muscle has just dropped. This is a 6 week strength training program.
