A Valkyrie is a female war goddess. Valkyries are all considered to be sisters. Often seen as riding wild wolves, or in some accounts soaring though the air like a raven scavenging for souls; Valkyries are beautiful shield maidens armed with helmets and spears. Although beautiful, they are war-like.

The Unbroken Movement Foundation is a donation based program aimed to help battered women FIND BEAUTY IN THEIR STRENGTH by getting them involved in training classes from weight-lifting to self-defense.

Our slogan, “Whiskey. Coffee. Community.” embodies the heart of our business. We source our coffee locally from our friends at Three Ships Coffee, offer pastries baked from scratch from Flour Child Bakery, and support local organizations in Hampton Roads in many different ways. Whether it’s supporting survivors of domestic violence by donating 50¢ from every cup of drip coffee we serve to the Unbroken Foundation, or offering a warm, welcoming place for military members, non-profits or community groups, we are proud to give back to Virginia Beach and beyond.
